Black-winged Stilt
The Black Winged Stilt favours wetlands with open shallow water. It has a striking and unmistakable elegant shape, with boldly pied plumage, long hot-pink legs, and long, very fine bill. They feed by wading in water, picking with their bill from the water surface.
