Hadada Ibis
The range of the Hadada Ibis is limited to Africa where it can be found in open country, wetland margins, and forest edge. I spotted this one at the extent of it range, in Fuerteventura where surprisingly it entered our hotel complex and was foraging in the grounds, digging and probing the soft soil, and picking up invertebrates with its long bill.
It allowed me to get quite close to enable this image.
